Boat trip from Cannes to Monaco for an exceptional yachting experience

It may be the smallest country in the world, but it certainly has everything a big country has: luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, a Prince’s Palace, its legendary Grand Prix and, above all, endless glamour. Welcome to Monaco, the star of the Mediterranean coast. Come and moor your Axopar 45 XT | Brabus Custom Line at Port Hercule or Port de Fontvieille and discover the treasures hidden within the Principality.

Where can you moor your yacht in Monaco ?

In Monaco, there are mainly three mooring areas where you can moor your luxury yacht.

  • Port Hercule : Once the only port to accommodate commercial vessels, Port Hercule has become the preferred port of call for magnificent yachts. It is one of the few ports in Europe to be situated in deep waters of up to 50 metres within a natural bay. It has 700 berths to accommodate the world’s most extravagant vessels.

  • Port de Fontvieille : Situated in a modern residential area, this marina is more intimate and covers just 8 hectares. Its capacity is limited to 160 berths. It very rarely accommodates visiting boats, unless a berth owner is away.

  • The Port of Cala del Forte : A brand-new marina located in Ventimiglia, Italy, Cala del Forte is considered Monaco’s twin port, just 20 minutes away. It offers 178 berths for boats ranging from 6.5 to 70 metres in length.

Things to discover in Monaco

Spanning just 2 km², Monaco is home to a wealth of cultural, architectural and scenic treasures that are a must-see during your boat trip on the Axopar 45 XT.

  • The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco : Born out of the Grimaldi Princes’ commitment to raising awareness of, fostering a love for and protecting the oceans, this institution, built into the side of a rock, houses themed aquariums, an area dedicated to sea turtles and an impressive shark lagoon.

  • The Exotic Garden : Cacti, agaves, aloes, crassulas – this natural haven is home to over 1,000 species of succulent plants, as well as the Observatory Grotto, which offers a true underground journey.

  • The Monte-Carlo Casino : if you’re feeling lucky and your stopover in Monaco aboard your pleasure yacht is running late, pop into the casino, designed in a sumptuous Belle Époque style with its opera house and luxury hotel.

  • The Prince of Monaco’s Car Collection : Spanning 3,500 m², this exhibition space showcases over a hundred cars collected and restored by Prince Rainier III over a period of 40 years.

  • The Prince’s Palace of Monaco : An iconic monument of the Principality, the palace opens its doors to the public for part of the year, allowing visitors to explore its State Apartments. Make the most of your visit to watch the traditional changing of the guard every day at 11.55 am.
